I'm a runner - it's a passion of mine.  And being a busy and proud Grandmother is an even bigger passion. So it made sense that the inspiration for this company came while I was out running in a local 5K race.  I started this company for every busy, proud and fun loving Grandmother who wants to tell the world how proud they are to be a grandmother....and better yet, a Grandmother On The Run!

My granddaughter joined in the excitment of creating this company by designing the company logo when she was 7 years old.  She drew a picture that contained a single heart – a pure heart of her love for me. That exact heart became my company logo.

Grandmothers On The Run.....well it's beyond running, it's about living.

Another big part of this company's mission is to give back. And we're doing just that by donating a portion of the company’s proceeds to a food bank here in Southern California.

The Foodbank of Southern California is the perfect place to donate to. TheFoodbank of Southern California has been providing food in Los Angeles County since 1975. They help feed 250,000 each week; or 2.5% of Los Angeles County’s population. That’s huge! What a difference they are making.

They are known throughout the country as being the most cost effective and efficient foodbank in the entire Nation. And that’s what Grandmothers are too – effective, efficient and caring.
